The mission
of the NICA is to provide for the safety, security, well being and
livelihood of our members by developing unity and common interest in the
workplace; provide access to affordable services and benefits; and provide
legal, educational and advisory assets to its members - never before affordable
by the blue collar worker.
NICA will, via its web site
and membership fees, provide access to local and regional job opportunities,
specialized benefits, and services, financial planning and budgeting tools,
legal advisory access and advisement; and a voice for workers in the
industrial market place.
At the same time
NICA will be closely aligned with the manpower needs, budgets, and technical
requirements of the industry and will maintain a continuous improvement
and educational process within our membership that further develops
their technical knowledge and craft skill sets. |
Our
goals in partnership with our membership are to provide industry with
well-trained, qualified, highly skilled,dedicated and motivated craftsmen of
all disciplines capable of delivering high quality project executions on
time, on budget and in compliance with all project specifications, operational
and technical standards.
We will work
directly with industry to identify the specific craft manpower needs of
each project and to provide the qualified personnel to the fit those
specific project needs in partnership with the contractors, owners,
builders, and specialty contractors we serve.
